Operation NB (ii)

This was the designation of Allied convoys (together with a numerical suffix) plying the route from Langemak Bay, New Guinea, to Cape Gloucester, New Britain, and as such reciprocals of the 'BN' series (June/July 1944).

The first of these four small convoys was NB.27 on 18 June with the 7,207-ton US Henry L. Gantt, and the last was NB.32 of 19 July with the 7,176-ton US Edward E. Hale.
