'Nothways' was a British tactical deception undertaken largely to protect the move of the headquarters of Lieutenant General Sir Oliver Leese’s British 8^th Army from the coast of the Adriatic Sea to the left centre of the line in the area of Cantalupo (March 1944).

The undertaking was primarily a radio deception to cover the headquarters' movement to an area better suited to control of the 8^th Army during the next offensive planned by General the Hon. Sir Harold Alexander’s Allied Armies in Italy command against the 'Gustav-Linie' defences.
