Operation NP (ii)

'NP' (ii) was a British naval minelaying programme by the light forces of Vice Admiral B. H. Ramsay’s (from 23 April 1942 Commodore R. L. B. Cunliffe’s and from 1 August 1942 Vice Admiral Sir Henry Pridham-Wippell’s) Dover Command in the area off the north-west French, Belgian and Dutch coasts between the Calais and Ruytingen areas, and was intended primarily to sink German coastal vessels and light warships (14 November 1941/2 October 1942).
