Operation NV

'NV' was the designation of Allied convoys (together with a numerical and sometimes a literal suffix) plying the route from Naples to Augusta, Italy and thence sometimes onward to Malta, and as such reciprocals of the 'VN' series (October 1943/September 1944) and from Livorno to Naples (November 1944/March 1945).

The first of the 151 such convoys, on 19/21 October 1943, was NV.4 with 29 merchant vessels, while the last, on 24/25 March 1945, was NV.117 with four merchant vessels.
