'Parcel' was a British naval undertaking to deliver Lord Halifax, the new ambassador, to Chesapeake Bay on the east coast of the USA (15/24 January 1941).

Prime Minister Winston Churchill had arrived with Halifax at Scapa Flow in the Orkney islands group, and the battleship King George V then departed with Halifax and an escort provided by the destroyers Bedouin, Matabele, Somali and Tartar.
