'Picador' (i) was a British unrealised plan for the seizure of Dakar, the capital of Vichy French-controlled French West Africa (spring/summer 1940).
Ultimately launched as 'Menace', 'Picador' (i) was the plan intermediate between the initial and largely Free French 'Scipio' (i) and British 'Barrister', and the fully developed Anglo-French 'Menace'.
