'PR' (i) was a British naval minelaying operation off the coast of the German-occupied Netherlands in the area of Oost Gat (22/24 September 1940).
The minelaying destroyers Icarus, Impulsive and Intrepid of the 20th Destroyer Flotilla departed Immingham and were screened off the Dogger Bank by the destroyers Venomous, Veteran and Wild Swan, and the minelaying was undertaken during the following night. 'PR' (i) was then suspended while German S-boote attacked the patrol sloops Mallard and Sheldrake, which were also part of the minelayer screen.
