'Redpoll' was a British operation by the Special Operations Executive to establish a radio station on the coast near Bergen and in the vicinity of a suitable landing area in German-occupied Norway and thus provide a speedy means of obtaining contact with reception committees (4/8 May 1945).

G. Løken was landed from the sea only days before the German surrender, and therefore had little opportunity to accomplish his task.
