'Regent' was a British special forces operation by the Belgian Independent Parachute Company (5^th Special Air Service) to support British armoured forces tasked with finding and destroying any German effort to break out to the north during 'Wacht am Rhein' (27 December 1944/15 January 1945).

Commanded by Capitaine Edouard Blondeel, the whole of the unit was used in this Jeep-mounted task to provide assault troop support for the armour in the heavily wooded region of St Hubert and Burl.
