'Reinforcement' was an Allied unrealised plan to bolster Major General Matthew B. Ridgway’s US 82^nd Airborne Division with Major General R. E. Urquhart’s British 1^st Airborne Division in the area to the west of St Sauveur le Vicomte in the south-eastern corner of the Cotentin peninsula during 'Overlord' (7 June 1944).
