'Rooster' was the US airlift to deliver Lieutenant General Liao Yao-xiang’s Chinese New 22^nd Division into the build-up area for the 'Plan X' (ii) offensive, through the Hukawng valley toward Myitkyina in Japanese-occupied northern Burma, by Lieutenant General Joseph W. Stilwell’s Chinese Army in India (Force 'X') (January 1944).
