'RT' (i) was the designation of an Allied convoy (together with a numerical suffix) plying the route from Cape Town, South Africa, to Freetown, Sierra Leone (4/13 August 1941).

The sole such convoy was RT.1 with the 16,810-ton British Empress of Russia, 83,673-ton British Queen Elizabeth and 22,424-ton British Monarch of Bermuda escorted by the battleship Malaya.
