'Rumford' was a British special forces attack on the Ile de Yeu off the western coast of German-occupied France (24/25 August 1944).

The raid was carried out by 10 men of the Belgian No. 4 Troop of No. 10 (Inter-Allied) Commando, who discovered during this reconnaissance mission that the Germans had already left the island.
