'Sambesi' was a German naval minelaying operation in the Skagerrak (5/6 August 1944).

The minefield was laid by the minelayers Ostmark and Kaiser, escorted by the destroyers Karl Galster, Friedrich Ihn and Theodor Riedel, the minesweepers M 406, M 425 and M 470, and the mine destroyer Sperrbrecher 23.
