Operation Second Undercut

'Second Undercut' was the British deception and support plan for 'Manna' (i) by exaggerating the size and strength of the British expeditionary force heading toward Greece (October/November 1944).

In a scheme created and implemented by Brigadier Dudley W. Clarke’s 'A' Force, the actual landing force was notionally augmented by one fictional division, with another two in reserve as the fictional III Corps.
