'Siena' was an Italian convoy operation from Crete to North Africa (8/10 July 1942).
The convoy of five merchant ships departed Souda Bay for Tobruk under escort of the Italian destroyer Mitragliere and the torpedo boats Sirio and Cassiopea, and the German destroyer ZG 3 and the submarine chasers UJ 2104 and UJ 2107. The convoy reached its destination without loss.
