'Slippery' was a British deception plan to persuade the Japanese that the British were about to undertake a major amphibious assault on the Kra isthmus area of Japanese-occupied Thailand (July 1945).
The plan, which was later merged into 'Sceptical' (i), was designed to cover the accumulation of landing craft for 'Zipper', the pair of planned landings with which the reconquest of Malaya was to start.
