'Sosa 101' was a Japanese air offensive in China against the Chinese Nationalist air bases around Chungking and in the province of Sichuan (May 1940).

The operation involved the Imperial Japanese navy’s 1^st Combined Air Group and 2^nd Combined Air Group, including 120 Mitsubishi G3M 'Nell' long-range bombers, operating from airfields near Hankow and Hsia-Kan.
