'SWo' was a German naval minelaying operation to the north of Terschelling in the German-occupied Netherlands off the eastern end of the Strait of Dover by the minelayers Kaiser and Togo (405 mines), and the torpedo boats Falke, Greif, Iltis and Jaguar of Kapitänleutnant Helmut Neuss’s 5th Torpedoboots-Flottille (1,000 mines), supported by the destroyer Karl Galster and torpedo boats Kondor, T 1, T 2 and T 3 of Korvettenkapitän Konrad Edler von Rennenkampf’s 1st Torpedoboots-Flottille (6/7 September 1940).
