Operation Ta-7

'Ta-7' was a Japanese operation using the 950-ton tank landing ship tank T-131 to deliver reinforcement to Ormoc Bay on Leyte island (28/30 October 1944).

The vessel departed Manila on Luzon island carrying about 340 men and weapons of the 20th Independent Anti-Tank Battalion, as well as other weapons, ammunition and food.

The vessel reached Ormoc Bay two days later, unloaded the men, weapons and equipment, and then embarked the stranded crew of T-101, another tank landing ship.
