The 'Tikhvin-Kirishi Offensive Operation' was the Soviet second of the two sub-operations together constituting the 'Tikhvin Strategic Offensive Operation', whose other component was the 'Malo-Vishersk Offensive Operation' (12 November/30 December 1941).
