Operation TL

'TL' was the designation of Allied convoys (together with a numerical suffix) plying the route from Takoradi, Gold Coast, to Lagos, Nigeria (May/August 1943).

The first of these 14 'Takoradi to Lagos' convoys was TL.10 of 14/16 May with five merchant vessels including the 4,876-ton British Conrakian, and the last was TL.23 of 29/31 August with the 7,069-ton British Inchanga and 4,149-ton British La Pampa.
