Operation TMM

'TMM' was the designation of Allied military convoys (together with a numerical suffix), inaugurated as the 'ETM' series, carrying vehicles on the route from the Thames river to France (October/November 1944).

The first of these convoys was TMM.1 of 11/12 October with the 7,133-ton British Fort Simpson, 7,219-ton British Samark and 7,219-ton British Samphill, and the last was TMM.18 of 24/25 November with the 3,526-ton Dutch Alcor, 7,160-ton British Fort St Croix and 7,161-ton British Fort Wallace.
