'Tomato' was a British unrealised plan for the destruction or capture of the German forces occupying the Channel Islands off the coast of the Cotentin peninsula in German-occupied northern France (September 1940).

The operation was terminated for a lack of the resources necessary for its implementation, and also for fear of the reprisals that the Germans might inflict on the British citizens of the Channel Islands.
