'TS' (ii) was the designation of Allied convoys (together with a numerical suffix) plying the route from Townsville to Brisbane and Sydney, eastern Australia, and as such reciprocals of the 'ST' (iii) series (January/May 1943).
The first of these was TS.11 of 4/7 January with the 7,710-ton British Canberra, 4,608-ton Dutch Cremer, British Merkur, 4,992-ton Dutch Tasman and 7,176-ton US Willis van Devanter, escorted by the Australian minesweeper Geelong. The last was TS.29 of 8/12 May with the 1,804-ton Norwegian Ardent, 7,176-ton US Henry Dearborn, 3,976-ton British Kurumba and 2,065-ton Dutch Patras, escorted by the Australian minesweepers Goulburn and Lithgow.
