'Warhorse' was a British radio deception planned by Colonel David Strangeways' 'R' Force of General Sir Bernard Montgomery’s Allied 21^st Army Group to attract the attention of the Germans toward the area of Nijmegen in the occupied Netherlands (November/December 1944).

The plan was cancelled after the Germans had broken the area’s dikes and flooded large area, thereby rendering the entire region unsuitable for military operations.
