'Wintermärchen' (ii) was a German propaganda undertaking by a unit of SS-Standartenführer Günter d’Alquen’s SS Standarte 'Kurt Eggers' against the Soviet forces holding the Oranienburg lodgement to the west of Leningrad on the southern side of the Gulf of Finland (winter 1943).
The undertaking involved the use of loudspeakers, air-dropped pamphlets and front-line leaflets in an attempt to persuade the Soviet forces to come over to the German side.
