'Zipfel' was a German operation against the partisan forces of Josip Broz Tito, in the triangle created by the Sava and Bosut rivers within German-occupied Yugoslavia, by Generalleutnant Heinrich von Behr’s 173rd Reserve-Division and Generalleutnant Hellmuth von Pannwitz’s 1st Kosaken-Kavalleriedivision (23 October 1943).
