'Dachs' was a U-boat minelaying operation by U-425, U-636, U-956, U-968, U-992 and U-995 in the Kara and Pechora Seas (31 August/5 September 1944).

The boats laid a number of minefields, lost none of their own number and, as far as is known, secured no sinkings.
