Operation Jigsaw

'Jigsaw' was an Allied deception designed to provide cover for the planned 'Brimstone' (ii) amphibious assault on Sardinia (1943).

Related to 'Canute' and 'Gargoyle', 'Jigsaw' was a simple undertaking in which the British and US troops earmarked for 'Brimstone' (ii) were told that they were being sent to North Africa as reinforcements.
