'Kirkstone' was a British and US special forces raid on the railway network to the north of Kaitsa in the north of German-occupied Greece (June 1944).

An operational group of the US Office of Strategic Services linked with Greek resistance elements to undertake reconnaissance and provide escort and close protection for the British Raiding Support Regiment’s mortar teams and demolition parties.
