'Locomotive' (ii) was a British operation to re-establish a base at Barentsburg on the island of Spitsbergen to the north of German-occupied Norway (16 September/1 October 1942).

The undertaking was carried out by the submarine Seadog, which departed Scapa Flow in the Orkney islands group to deliver a party of eight Norwegians as well as 12 tons of supplies to support the first part of the Norwegians' stay on the island.
