'Redwing' (i) was a British series of naval exercises to rehearse procedures for implementation in the event that the German battleship Tirpitz broke out from her forward base in a fjord in the northern part of German-occupied Norway and headed to the south into the Norwegian Sea and thence the North Sea (1942/44).
