'Selling' was a British and Free Greek naval undertaking to land on the island of Euboea a representative of the Greek government-in-exile and other personnel (5/14 September 1943).
The Free Greek submarine Katsonis departed Beirut in Lebanon after the special party had been embarked, landed the party successfully and then, while trying to attack a German troop transport, was sunk off the island of Skiathos in the Aegean Sea by the German submarine chaser UJ 2101.
