'Spatz' was a German operation against the partisan forces of Josip Broz Tito in area of Zlarin, Sibenik and Primosten in German-occupied Yugoslavia (14/20 October 1943).
The operation was undertaken by two battalions of Generalleutnant Karl Eglseer’s 114th Jägerdivision, but the associated and supposedly simultaneous landings to secure Zlarin and Prvić islands were delayed for lack of the required Siebel transport ferries and therefore started only on 21 October.
