'Walzertraum' (ii) was a German revised version of 'Samara' by Generaloberst (later Generalfeldmarschall) Walter Model’s 9^th Army in Generalfeldmarschall Günther von Kluge’s Heeresgruppe 'Mitte' to shorten the length of the Kursk salient in the area of Berezovka on the Eastern Front in preparation for the 'Zitadelle' offensive (28 May/June 1943).
