'Westurm' was a German pair of naval shore bombardment operations in support of 'Beowulf II' by the light cruisers Emden and Leipzig, supported by the torpedo boats of Korvettenkapitän Heinrich Erdmann’s 2nd Torpedoboots-Flottille against the Soviet coastal batteries on the Sworbe peninsula constituting the southern end of the Estonian island of Saaremaa (Ösel in German) (12 and 28 September 1941).
